Strang, Michael J. (born 1942)
Michael J. Strang has exhibited at over a hundred public and private galleries. He is best known for his oil paintings and drawings of landscapes, flowers, seascapes, still life and portraits. Between 1968 and 1973 he studied at Wimbledon and Camberwell School of Art. He delights in mark making, brushstrokes and the fluidity of paint. The energy conveyed by the pigment in his paintings becomes as important as the scenes he is recording.
