IMS Prussia Cove 40th Anniversary Celebration

13 Nov 2012 - 30 Nov 2012

The International Musicians Seminar (IMS) Prussia Cove, a registered charity, is one of the best and most respected short course music seminars in the world.

Founded by the great Hungarian violinist Sandor Vegh in 1972, the seminars have attracted musicians from all over the world. Past alumni are distinguished soloists, in the front desks of the world's great orchestras, performing in celebrated quartets, and teaching in some of the world's great teaching institutions.

This exhibition is a unique collaboration of major artists supporting the young classical musicians of the future. Twenty contemporary artists with links to the far west of Cornwall have donated works to be auctioned at Christie's South Kensington in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of IMS Prussia Cove.

The works will be sold by silent auction on Wed 12 December at Christie's South Kensington. A bidding form and catalogue are available at the desk.
