| AFTER the fall of the Spanish Republic, Miró took refuge with Braque in France, where he began work on Constellations. With the German invasion of France, Miró, in a state of despair, slipped unnoticed into Spain, where he finished the project. The resulting series is considered by critics to be the most important and poignant of Mirós lithographic work.
We have invited some major Cornish artists, as well as local children, to contribute their own interpretation of Constellations to hang beside Mirós great masterpieces.
