HENRY SCOTT TUKE RA RWS (1858-1929) stands among the giants of British art. To mark the 150th anniversary of his birth this exhibition looks at the major contribution he made to British Impressionism.

Important loans from public and private collections countrywide make this a show not to be missed. The exhibition concurrently runs with a retrospective show at The Royal Cornwall Museum, Truro and a new book on the artist by curator Catherine Wallace, entitled Catching the Light: The Art and Life of Henry Scott Tuke. Signed copies will be available at the gallery from 2 May.

A schools and community educational programme will accompany the exhibition.
