Henry Opie was a photographer who opened a photographic studio in 1889 at Bond Street, Redruth. Originally called Opie, Henry & Sons this later became Opie Ltd in 1914 with other premises opening in Penryn Street, Redruth; Truro, Falmouth And Helston.
Opie Ltd was trading in Falmouth from roughly 1905-1935 in what is now the Cornwall Hospice Care Charity Shop opposite King Charles Church.
Records show that the company ceased trading in 1959.
