More information about the frame

A fine contemporary model of an artist?s frame, the geometrical planes and neutral colouring of this frame echo the complicated double enfilade of opposing doors and door frames, the drab walls and wooden floors of the painting. Like a play on words, the frame itself seems to become a door set aslant on this strange world of foreshortened surfaces and counterpointed grids and diagonals.
