Open to allThe gallery offers FREE talks, tours and workshops for community groups from nursery groups to Age Concern. We always welcome the opportunity to develop new partnerships and community projects.
The gallery is fully accessible and we particularly welcome visits from special needs groups of all ages and people with severe learning difficulties. This could be an art workshop, performance or tea party inspired by the artworks on display.
Staff have a great deal of experience and are happy to design activities that suit the needs of individual groups and visitors.

Sarah Wimperis Van Gogh workshop at Falmouth Art Gallery
Sarah Wimperis is offering a one-day workshop using the style and techniques of van Gogh. The day includes a demonstration painting then you will have the chance to create your own work.
You will experience working with materials that may be new to you as well as having fun creating a painting using the techniques of van Gogh
All materials will be provided with an opportunity to purchase your own after the workshop.
All levels of experience catered for
In the event of a workshop being cancelled deposits will be refunded.
To secure your place a £10.00 deposit (non-returnable). Workshops cost £45.00 per person, balance of £35.00 due on the day.
Home education workshops
Falmouth Art Gallery welcomes home educated families, with art and craft workshops connected to our current exhibitions.
Informal in nature, the sessions usually provide two different activities in order to cover the needs of various ages, from preschool to secondary. Accompanying adults are encouraged to take part too!
