About the Artist
Hackney studied Contemporary Crafts at University College Falmouth, where he developed his skills in fine metal and automata construction. He believes it is important to salvage and reuse materials. He finds, hoards and transforms things into new objects of desire and intrigue, many inspired by his imagination, thoughts and dreams.
