About the Artist
Boafo trained at the University of Plymouth, completing a postgraduate diploma followed by an MA in Fine Art. Her work is centred round photography and she has much experience working as a photographer in Cornwall and London. She is now a senior lecturer in Photography at University College Falmouth. Boafo is interested in the interface of surface realities and organic, microbial imagery. She is part of the RANE group that carries out Research in Art, Nature and Environment. She has been a member of Newlyn Society of Artists since 2010.
