Chris Insoll, author and artist, is the driving force behind the Portscatho Colony of Artists, who meet for lifeclasses in Chris's studio. In 1978 he studied at Chelsea Art School and the following year at Falmouth School of Art. He has exhibited widely and in 1992 he was a prize winner at La Federation Nationale de la Culture Francaise, Deauville. In 2001 he has a one person show at Falmouth Art Gallery. He is author of Portscatho - portrait of an artist's colony.
